To Clear Metal or Organic stains, Follow these instructions Step by Step:

Balance your pool chemicals properly before use
Lower free chlorine (FC) levels to 1ppm or less to avoid more metal stains by chlorine.
Apply Essential Values Stain Remover to the stained area. For Pool Surface Stains: Add 1 lb per 10,000 gallons targeting stained areas. For Water Discoloration: Set the pool filter to recirculation mode and add 1 lb or half bottle per 10,000 gallons around the pool's edge. Thoroughly brush the pool walls and floor till you can't see more stains.
Test and rebalance water chemistry back to normal levels. After stain treatment, do not shock your pool for at least one week from treatment to allow Essential Values Stain Remover to break down all the stains.
